Work is visibly under way on the restoration of the lake in Cedar Brook Park.
Various crews were in evidence during the past week: construction equipment has been parked in a staging area, and fencing went up at the end of the week.
A pump station has been installed and the lake is quickly being drained.
Thanks to Freeholder Mapp and the Board of Chosen Freeholders for the wise investment in this popular county park, and to April Stefel, the city planning division's point person on this project.
Will post more as the project progresses.
