In Memoriam - Coretta Scott King

[An online Guest Book and a selection of photographs, audio and video clips, reflections and obituaries.]

People of good will everywhere are saddened by the death of Coretta Scott King, widow of Martin Luther King, Jr., and known to many as the 'First Lady of Civil Rights.'

To me, the most incisive remembrance is that of Andrew Young on NPR, which can be heard here. NPR also has excerpts from a speech Coretta delivered to an anti-war rally in New York City just three weeks after her husband's assassination. They can be found here.

You may sign a Guest Book for Coretta Scott King kept by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution here.
