Plainfield Remembers 9/11 - all pix are up...plus others

*

All the "Plainfield Remembers 9/11" photos are now posted.

PT is using the FLICKR online service. It's easy to use, and allows you to make comments on the photos (after you join Flickr, which is FREE), save photos to your own computer, or email to someone else.

I will organize newly uploaded photos into SETS -- which you may always access here.

As of 10/7/2006, the following
SETS are up for your viewing pleasure --
Any time you see a group of thumbnails, clicking on one will enlarge it and make it the main photo.

Try the SLIDESHOW option available in the upper right corner of the page. You can view the entire set as a slideshow and have control over how fast the pictures cycle through.

To SAVE ANY PICTURE to your hard drive, RIGHT click on the picture, choose 'SAVE AS...', give the photo a name that makes sense to you (you don't have to accept PT's picture title), and save into a folder of your choice on your computer. Note: You cannot save from slideshow view. Just go back to the set and save from there.

EMAILing PICTURES is easy, too. When you have an image you want to send to someone, go to the top of your browser and under FILE, select the 'SEND PAGE' or 'SEND LINK' option (different browsers call it different things). This will open an email message with the link already pasted into the body of the message. Address the message, add any messsage you wish in the body (be careful not to change any of the LINK information already pasted in), and SEND. That's all there is to it.

If you have any questions about using FLICKR, check their FAQ (frequently asked questsions) page here.

As PT adds new photos and groups, I will advise of updates.

Enjoy!
